Race information
In the last 34 years the fastest times run in the Adelaide Marathon have been by Steve Poulton (AUS, 2:20:23) and Gillian Dunning (NZL, 2:46:31). Currently the marathon attracts 500 runners (400 men, 100 women including, in the latest edition, 12 foreign runners from eight countries. Among all events 1400 participate, split evenly between men and women.
