KD Amdavad Marathon

The KD Amdavad Marathon is an experience where every kilometre connects fitness with the spirit, heritage and humanity of Ahmedabad. The forthcoming edition will be held on 21 February 2027. Over the last four editions the event has established itself as one of India’s leading cause-driven marathons, bringing together runners, families and communities on a route that showcases the city’s iconic landmarks and rich cultural heritage. The defining message of the marathon is “Donate Organs, Save Lives.” As runners make their way through Ahmedabad, every step becomes a reminder that running can create an impact far beyond the finish line. The event harnesses the collective energy of the running community to raise awareness of organ donation and encourage people to consider the extraordinary gift of giving someone another chance at life. Inclusivity is another defining feature of the event, with more than 30% women's participation. The strong presence of women runners reflects the marathon’s commitment to creating an environment where everyone feels encouraged to participate, compete and celebrate their own journey.
