The Gbarnga Marathon was originally intended to be an annual race which started in 2010 with hundreds of athletes and spectators alike in the city of Gbarnga. The Foundation has been sitting dormant due to many issues, including the deaths of some of its officials, but finally decided to have a come back race scheduled for May 30th 2026 respectively, in Gbarnga City, Bong County, Liberia.
