Maldives Half Marathon

The Maldives Half Marathon is one of the largest half marathon events in the Maldives. It attracts thousands of runners from around the world to race in a unique island setting. Held in Hulhumalé, the event includes the Half Marathon, 15km, 10km, 5km Fun Run and Kids Mile races. In 2025, runners from 39 nationalities participated, highlighting the event’s growing international appeal. Race week also includes the Maldives Running Expo, offering bib collection, running gear, wellness activities, and live music. The event also promotes sustainability through the Protect The Reef campaign, encouraging participants to help preserve the Maldives’ fragile marine environment.
