Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon is a high-altitude international adventure held on 29 May every year from the Mount Everest Base Camp criss-crossing the high country Sherpa trails of Khumbu Mount Everest Highlands. This event celebrates the historical ascent of Mt. Everest by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary on 29th May 1953.
