Yellow River Estuary (Dongying) Marathon

Race information

The first edition of the Yellow River Estuary (Dongying) Marathon was staged in 2008 and the event has been held successfully for 13 editions since then. The race has been conferred with “World Athletics Gold Label Race” status and the Gold medal verified by the Chinese Athletics Association.   The Yellow River Estuary (Dongying) Marathon will next be held on 22 October 2023. The slogan under which the race is promoted is "Meet at the Yellow River Estuary, Run for Marathon Victory". There are three major categories for runners to select from: Marathon, Half Marathon and Health Run, with a total of 30,000 participants running altogether. We warmly welcome you to Dongying to run on this flat course and challenge yourself to achieve a new personal best time while enjoying the beautiful city scenery of the Yellow River estuary.
