Jocelyne Jepkosgei (KEN) beat her own world record in the Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso on 22 October, running one second faster than the time she set earlier this year in Prague (1:04:51 to 1:04:52). It is her sixth world road record of the year having also broken the 10km record in Prague (twice along with those for 15km and 20km).
