Wizz Air becomes main sponsor of Valencia Half Marathon

The airline will be the new main sponsor of Spain’s best half marathon and one of the fastest in the world where it will share the title name with the Fundación Trinidad Alfonso.

Wizz Air has chosen Valencia to debut its race sponsorship in Spain, not only because of the event’s reputation, but also because it will establish a permanent base at the city’s airport starting in December.

The Hungarian airline has spent over a decade promoting an active lifestyle by supporting races across Europe, and as of this year, it features the WIZZ Run series, which aims to inspire runners to achieve their goals and join Wizz races.

Wizz Air’s entry as co-title sponsor of the Valencia Half Marathon brings a rebranding for the race. Starting today, the Valencia Half Marathon Trinidad Alfonso Wizz Air features a new logo, with pink and cobalt blue taking over as its main colors.
