Mallorca

The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca is now officially sold out, with all 8,500 places available for its next edition on the 19th of October.

The marathon is the most popular running event in the Balearic Islands, one of the most iconic marathons in the world and one of the events with the greatest economic impact on the city of Palma.

This highly international sporting event, which will have a record 93% of runners coming from abroad, has managed for the first time in its history to cover all the places available for the three distances over which it is held (10 kilometers, half marathon and marathon) two months in advance. The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca has 1,500 places for the full-marathon distance, which was the first one to sell out, 4,700 spots for the half-marathon and 2,300 for the 10k run. In addition, the race has consolidated its position as the one with the highest percentage of female participation in Spain and one of the highest in Europe, reaching 46% of the total number of registered runners, with the record figure of 54% of participants in the 10k.

Another striking statistic is the age range with the highest number of participants in the race: 25 to 29 years old, which represents a significant rejuvenation of the ‘average runner’, who until last year was always between 40-45 years old.

The majority of participants are of German nationality (39%), while the second most represented state on the start line will be the United Kingdom (21%).

The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca 2025 will celebrate its 21st anniversary next October 19th as the biggest athletic event in the Balearic Islands. More than just a sporting event, it showcases Palma’s cultural charm and vibrant atmosphere, offering a unique perspective on the city beyond its well-known summer appeal, an experience that can be enjoyed by everyone, from runners to their families and friends.

TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca is organized by Kumulus, with the title sponsor and founder of the marathon TUI, the support of Palma City Council, co-financed with the “Sustainable Tourism Tax Fund” of the Balearic Government”, the support of the Fundació Mallorca Turisme and the collaboration of Proa Group, Zafiro Hotels, 361º, Fornes Logistics, and Ports de Balears, among others.
