New developments at Berlin

Just under six weeks to go: the Generali Berlin Half Marathon 2025 is getting closer and the anticipation is growing. And there are a few new things you should know about. Inline skating places are still available. At the Generali Berlin Half Marathon, the inline skaters take to the new, attractive course immediately before the runners. Take the chance and experience a relaxed sightseeing tour through Berlin. Secure your starting place quickly and be there! You can find all the information on our new website.

Did you know the Half Marathon Expo will be held at the Messe Berlin exhibition centre this year? Unlike in previous years, it will NOT be held at the former airport in Tempelhof. You can look forward to everything to do with running, wellness and lifestyle, fitness, nutrition and sports medicine as well as the Inline Village and kids on the move. Berlin Half is part of the SuperHalfs series, which offers runners a unique and challenging experience as they complete half marathons in the famous European cities of Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia. You now no longer have a time limit on completing the series. From the day of their first race, participants have unlimited time to complete this remarkable achievement and receive a very special medal.

SCC EVENTS and the Berlin City Mission have been working together for a good three years now. At both the Generali Berlin Half Marathon and the BMW Berlin Marathon, items of clothing and shoes are collected for the benefit of people in need, most of whom are homeless. Today, the project has developed into a permanent fixture: While only around five helpers were involved at the beginning, there are now more than 50 full-time and voluntary workers who lend a hand.
