04 March 2025, 12pm UTC
Dr. Ralph Schomaker, Managing Director of the Center for Sports Medicine and also race doctor for the Volksbank Münster Marathon is starting a popular seminar series.
The general topic that is of interest to everyone: “Health – how does it work? Start instead of waiting: Effects of physical training on health and longevity” – a lecture that appeals to everyone.
This lecture is aimed at athletes, but also especially at non-athletes, who will certainly be encouraged to perhaps register for the free running course for complete beginners from March 26, 2025. Unfortunately, this time is marked by a worldwide wave of lifestyle-related diseases of civilization. This results in restrictions in quality of life and life expectancy that have never been seen before in the history of human development. What does a “life with style” look like and what does a health-promoting lifestyle change look like in concrete terms? How can each individual improve their quality of life and extend their healthy years through diet, exercise and other lifestyle changes?"
Date: Monday, March 10th at 7 p.m. (admission from 6.30 p.m.)
Venue: Westfälische Nachrichten office, WN Tickethop, Picassoplatz 3, 48143 Münster (There are no visitor parking spaces available on site. Public parking is available nearby.)
