Powerbar joins Frankfurt sponsors

A three-year agreement has been signed with the race. “We are delighted to have Powerbar at our side as a new partner,” said Jo Schindler, the race director of the oldest German city marathon.

The renowned marathon of the metropolis on the river Main is known for its flat course, which attracts elite and hobby runners alike. The average time of all participants is slightly under the magic four-hour mark – making the Mainova Frankfurt Marathon the fastest mass-participation marathon in Germany.

Powerbar products will be available at various stations along the course and offer runners the opportunity to recharge. The products are developed to be easy to consume and digest while running. They enable the athlete to take on the optimal mix of nutrients at the right time and the right amount. Powerbar also supplies energy bars at the finish line for the optimal snack after the race.
