Naples goes green

This year, all refreshment stations will use recyclable and eco-friendly Foopak cups, eliminating plastic bottles and cups from the event.

These sustainable cups are provided by APP (Asia Pulp & Paper), a global leader in sustainable paper production. Foopak Bio Natura is a sustainable product as it is made from PEFC-certified wood, ensuring responsible forest management. It is recyclable and can be reused in the production process, making it more eco-friendly than most plastic-coated cartons. Additionally, the cups are safe for food contact, as certified by the FDA and BfR, and can be recycled with paper waste.

Napoli Running also aims to raise awareness within the local community, working with official institutions to promote its commitment to sustainability. This initiative enhances the positive impact of the event by encouraging proper waste disposal and environmental responsibility.

Online registration is open until February 19, 2025, or until the race reaches full capacity.
