Scheduled for 27 April 2025, thousands of runners will take to Bengaluru’s streets, navigating a route that highlights the city’s unique historical character – from the lush greenery of Cubbon Park to the heritage of Vidhana Soudha and Raj Bhavan, the picturesque Ulsoor lake and the landmark Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium.

The TCS World 10K Bengaluru is a challenge of speed and endurance. The fast-paced flat course allows world-class athletes and amateurs to put their best foot forward and ensure personal best timings. Meanwhile, categories like the senior citizens’ run, the champions with disabilities, and the Majja run encourage inclusivity and diversity; an equal chance to take centre stage, participate and run for glory.

The race is a haven for runners, with its perfect weather conditions complemented by the pre and post-race facilities such as the warm-up zone, unique medal and a finish-line celebration that rewards every effort. With the support of local authorities Bengaluru’s status as a cultural hub is showcased in the energy of the event, making it the biggest celebration of health, community, and giving.

Beyond the run itself the event’s impact is multi-fold. As a city known for innovation and a forward-thinking spirit, the TCS World 10K Bengaluru embraces eco-conscious initiatives including zero waste to landfill and being a 100% waste-managed race. Initiatives such as digital handbooks to minimize paper use, bibs without plastic covers, donating excess water for plant irrigation in the city, upcycling and recycling waste materials, and use of electric transportation.

Furthermore, philanthropy is another pillar for the TCS World 10K, making it one of India’s largest sporting platforms for philanthropy. It has consistently broken barriers and, since 2008, has positively impacted millions of lives and raised over USD 6.5 million towards multiple causes such as women’s empowerment, education, health, and others.
