Congress speaker announced: Jorge Maravilla

Jorge is the COO and CMO of Neurun, an innovative AI race concierge that can answer any questions about an event or race course, assess a participant’s readiness for race day, recommend weather-appropriate gear, and even simulate hill segments of a race course in the participant’s local area.

With a background as a former professional runner, co-founder of a premium specialty running store, and former Global Marketing Director of Trail Running at Salomon, he brings a broad understanding across various sectors of the outdoor industry, driving innovation and transformation through AI.

He will speak on the topic “Tech on the Track: Leveraging AI for the Next Generation of Race Organization”, replacing Neurun founder Cade Netscher who was originally scheduled to give the talk.

The XXIV World Congress of AIMS will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 14 to 17 November, 2024 in conjunction with the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon.
