Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon is not just Israel’s leading sports event, it’s a non-stop party in a non-stop city. Tel Aviv is among the leading metropolitan attractions worldwide, a fascinating urban mosaic of east and west combined with one of the most ancient port cities – Jaffa. The vibrant modern city, with a rich cultural, business and entertainment life, is one of the most exciting cities in the world. The 6th Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon will be a festival of sporting events, healthy lifestyle, good music and celebrations: 35,000 runners are expected to participate on the day, making it the most popular running event in Israel. The 2014 Marathon also offers a Half Marathon, 10km, 4.2km, a hand cycle race for people with special needs, and a Kids’ Mini Marathon, all of which allows runners of all levels and abilities to participate. The course takes runners along Tel Aviv’s breathtaking seashore, past internationally styled architecture, and through the main streets of Tel Aviv, allowing runners to relish the city’s most famous attractions.
