Warsaw is one of the most rapidly developing European cities with huge potential and an extraordinary energy. It is a metropolis whose hallmarks – besides its rich history and extraordinary monuments – are its open-minded inhabitants, the Vistula River and exceptional cuisine.

The Warsaw Half Marathon is one of the largest races in this part of Europe. Every year the event attracts thousands of competitors from all over the world. 15 editions have already been held, completed by a total of 100,000 participants. For eight years the event has regularly achieved 5-digit numbers of attendees.
The race route leads through the very heart of the city, which is rich in both tourist and historical interest. During the run you will pass places such as the Old Town, Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, the Presidential Palace, Krasiński Park, the Vistula River and the Multimedia Fountain Park.
The Warsaw Half Marathon is not only a sporting event, but also a great social celebration where charities get the opportunity to help those in need even more effectively. The #BiegamDobrze campaign has been part of the event since 2016. Thanks to this charity initiative, cancer patients as well as children and young people have been able to receive valuable help. Runners have already raised over one million Euros to support the work of NGOs. This is the largest charity event of its kind in Poland.
The Half Marathon, held on the last weekend of March, has become a permanent fixture on the sporting and touristic calendar of events. There are many good reasons why you should come to Warsaw to run in the 16th edition of the Half Marathon.
